RG Huston acted as the general contractor for this $3.5 million dollar City of Madison street and utility reconstruction project.
Project Description
This project involved the complete reconstruction of W. Washington Avenue from Bedford Street thru Broom Street including a portion of S. Bassett Street. Our work included the installation of water main and services, sanitary sewer main and laterals, storm sewer structures and pipes, curbs and gutters, base course, asphalt pavement, concrete islands, street lighting, sidewalks, and driveway aprons. Staging, traffic control, and public coordination played a major role in the success of this project because E. Washing is a major traffic route in Madison.
